Ken commenced his working life lecturing in business studies at the Diploma level. After a few of years working in the education sector, he set out on his entrepreneurial journey of creating numerous business start-ups, commencing with a taxation and accountancy practice which he developed with over 1,000 clients before selling.
Ken was Chief Executive and major stake-holder of a joint venture company formed with the Canadian multi-national ATCO.
In March 1988 he established ASTA Management Consultants, which he later transformed into The CEO Institute.
Since founding The CEO Institute, Ken has also founded CEO Online and the International Institute of Directors and Managers (IIDM).
Ken was a councillor with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (Victorian division), and is a former Chairman and Deputy Chairman of The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal Corporate Committee.
He was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Foundation for Family and Private Business (a Monash University Enterprise) and a member of the RMIT University, Entrepreneurship Discipline Advisory Committee.
Ken is a life member of the Lord Somers Camp and Power House, and an active member of the Kooyong Tennis Club.
Ken's interests include art, Australian Rules football and numerous charities.
