The CEO Institute - A meeting of minds

The CEO Institute was founded by Ken Gunn - currently Chairman & CEO - in 1992 as a peer to peer membership organisation for Chief Executives and in 2011 became the worlds first global certification body for CEOs. The CEO Institute was established to help business leaders connect with their peers and learn from them. It is Australia's leading networking group for senior executives who want to be better informed and more effective business leaders.

The first meeting of The CEO Syndicate® program was held in Melbourne in June 1992. After establishing its reputation in Melbourne, The CEO Institute opened offices in Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane in 1997 and in 2007 opened in Perth.

"The CEO Institute is the most popular association among my peers, and is widely regarded as the most respected organisation of its kind in Australia" - Member for 6 years

How it works

Members of The CEO Institute benefit by:

  • Connecting with like-minded leaders in a supportive, confidential environment. Grow as a leader and expose yourself to new ways of thinking through vigorous discussion.

  • Learning from others' experiences. You can talk with your peers about common challenges and be exposed to alternative perspectives on possible solutions.

  • Networking. Build a wider network business and personal contacts. The CEO Institute's unique syndicate format fosters rapport, sharing and trust among members.
